  • Codes type select issue

Today I encountered with a issue with database Edit feature. I'm try to edit Super Mario Bros. 2 page for NES and on some codes that are GameGenie, especially most of BeyondTheStatic's codes when I try to edit any of them and window popup for editing, under "Code Data" the code is stays as "RAW" format. I change it to GameGenie because none of BeyondTheStatic's codes are RAM ones. But when I choose "GameGenie" from drop menu and click the "Submit" button, and the page refresh and I open editing for the same codes, its type got back to "RAW" type. I tried to pug again to the correct type - "GameGenie", but no matter how times I try to fix any of BeyondTheStatic's codes to their proper codetype "GameGenie", after clicking "Submit" to accept changes, from the correct "GameGenie" type I've chose it always goes back to the wrong "RAW" type. Any ideas how I to fix this?

its known problem affects all systems, the code format type goes back to default code format type when re-edit a code.
reselect the code format type before you submit the code, then use the [v] button to see the code's currently code format type & notes
