The topic has been brought up before. Sly's link is already a great resource for mame cheats. Adding them to our site would mean doubling the size of the database, and it would be a long time until our collection would even touch Pugsy's. Even if Pugsy allowed us to import his codes for a mirror or a means of maintaining, it would again bloat our database more since it's a vast collection of cheats. I believe the cheats we make for mame get adopted into Pugsy's collection anyway.

Pugsy doesn't always release his cheat file with every release of MAME. Sometimes he skips a version probably due to not having time to update it due to real life. But not to worry because he normally releases it in the next release of MAME. His last release was for MAME 0.147. He didn't release one for the current MAME 0.148. So it's a high probability that he will be releasing an update for the next version, MAME 0.149.

Pugsy recently removed some codes from out his cheat files.

Arcade systems I planing to:

Capcom Play System 1 / CPS1 ROMs
Capcom Play System 2 / CPS2 ROMs
Neo Geo

the following arcade system do not run properly on mame anyway, but I couple codes for them for other emulators.

Capcom Play System 3 / CPS3 ROMs
Sega Model 2
Sega NAOMI
Tatio Type X
