  • Disc-Based Systems

Because the Redump/TOSEC-ISO dats are grossly incomplete, and use different methods of hashing the images, I've decided to instead use a different indexer for disc-based systems.

What does this mean for you?

I will be removing the psx/2/p games from the database and re-adding them complete with Sony serial numbers. I will then redo the process of importing all of the old codes. The only problem that will arise, is any code added to one of these systems since the beta launch will need to be re-assigned somehow. I'll try to do this myself, since there are only a handful. The edited codes should be fine.

Please don't add any codes to the systems listed below until I finish.

    System (New Indexer)
Any Sony System (SonyIndex, PSX DataCenter)
    SegaCD (MESS)
    PCE CD (MESS)
    Saturn (MESS)

    Wii (Not Sure Yet)
    Gamecube (Not Sure Yet)
    Dreamcast (Not Sure Yet)
    3DO (Not Sure Yet)

I still have to find complete (or at least mostly complete) dats for Wii, Gamecube, Dreamcast, and 3DO systems. If you know of any let me know. I'd need a way to properly index each game, so I'd need each game's name, region/language/etc, and universal hash or serial.

    CD-i is good to go.
    EDIT: UPDATE!!!!11!!

All systems are good but the sony systems. I'm going to rebuild the games lists for those systems in the next day or two, or many.

GameCube & Wii: This site has a nice database (no dat) for both consoles.

Dreamcast: These are the best databases I could find: Dumpcast (TOSEC, but the best I could find) and Guardiana (no dat).

3DO: It doesn't have a massive library, but no databases setup like the above. I'll keep looking around.

            can you add

            Product / Serial ID?
(Its Printed on actual cartridge and Disc, most emulators have option to display this info)

            Codebreaker Hash Key
            (4-byte Little-Endian to Big-Endian SHA-1 Hash)
lee4 Does Not Accept Codes Requests !
When lee4 asks a question it does not mean lee4 will look at your game

Serials are in the DB for the sony systems and ds. I just haven't put a place for it on the page yet. Is it something you'd want in the games list? Probably...

For master codes and the such, I have plans to devise a system for keeping them and displaying them separately from the rest of the codes. I already have tables for gba/gc codebreaker master codes.

Edit: evidently I already added the serial numbers to the game list table view. Go to your site settings (top right corner) and select Table instead of Grouped for the View Style under Game Selection Page.
