I think we should add an Atari 2600 section to the database. What do you guys think? There are no existing Atari 2600 cheat code databases. And I think the game system deserves one since it's the game system that pratically started video game popularity and video games might not be what it is today if it wasn't for the Atari 2600. Maybe AtariAge could even link to us for Atari 2600 cheat codes.

The best Atari 2600 emulator is "Stella". Stella has cheat code capability. During gameplay, press the "Tab" key, and click on "Cheat" in the menu that is displayed. Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. There is no actual cheat device for any system before the NES so its mainly for the emulator that play the "Games" of the Atari 2600, oh by the way Chuck Norris was a bad ass game for the Atari or at least thats how I remember it from when I was a kid lolSpoiler Alert! Click to view...

There are MANY good games for the Atari 2600 (and bad ones for that matter)... the thing is that people have just forgotten how addicting and good those basic games were. People have forgotten where they came from. In my opinion, Atari 2600 is easily in the Top 5 Best Game Systems Of All-Time.Last edited by OldSchoolGamer; 12-07-2011, 08:08:11 PM.Now broadcasting from the underground command post. How can you hold down reset and power on an emulator? That may only be possible on the real hardware.Originally posted by TheRequest2k View Posthold down Reset and Power. Now, select game 1 and then start the game. You'll now have double shots. Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. It appears that right after Atari 2600 cheat codes recently started getting made at this site, another site decided to do the same. Now broadcasting from the underground command post.
