  • Good, But Unadded Codes

    I've noticed that there's a lot of good codes that aren't in the database yet and some old codes that aren't even in the database. I'm not sure whether or not they are in the process of being added, but could I possibly suggest a few more Chroniclers?

    I have a lot of spare time lately. If it's too much to do for a few people, adding more Chroniclers could help add more codes to the database quickly. If there's an availability at the moment for adding more people to the GSHI team to help support the site, I would like to be considered. If not, that's okay as well, but I think adding a few more people could only help, not hurt. Thank you for your time and for reading this.

      I agree with thenewguy. I like the idea since there are a lot of my codes that are not in the database ,

      I'm not sure why they aren't in the database but having a few more Chroniclers can solve this problem

            Not the whole usrcheat.dat to the site, the newer added codes to the site by various members to the database.

                Well, more like the codes the creator of the code would like to be posted. If the code creator doesn't like his/her code inside the database it should be removed as requested.

                  you know this is somehow a very interesting point...
                  for instance a money code...
                  everyone can just make it....
                  someone request you to take down but you can just make it too
                  then re-add it back to the database.....

                  after all is just a simple + and -
                  unless that money code is different from the typical one liner ram hack

                  for instance some of your animal crossing code....
                  those are really different :P
                  not like everybody could do it...

                    XD well, you are right. Almost every hacker is capable of making a simple money code. I don't see why someone wouldn't want that code in the database though.
                    I do understand if the code they don't want in the database is a pointer code or extremely difficult ASM Code. Either way, on this site everyone gets credited for
                    whatever codes they make. But, that are the positives and negatives about this whole thing and most of the codes you make people can't make as well.

                    It is also hard to figure out who stole codes...like you said, anyone can make an infinite money code, but not everyone can make an ASM or Pointer code.

                      To avoid the need to start a new thread, I will use that old one to please someone to add some unadded codes:

                      http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/4993-rimsky82-s-codes
                      Following @rimsky82's GG codes are never added in database at all:
                      "Pieces don't descend automatically" GG code for NES game "Tetris" contained in post #6;
                      Both "Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt (USA) NES codes contained in post #8;
                      all "New Ghostbusters II (U) (Prototype)" codes for NES in post #64.

                      http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/50...-Nes-PAR-Codes
                      "Infinite Mind" PAR code for "Argos no Senshi (A.K.A Rygar) (J)" for NES in post #8 is never added in database;

                      http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/57...Duck-Hunt)-NES
                      All @BeyondTheStatic's "Landscape Modification" GG codes for "Super Mario Bros." for NES contained in post #29 need to be added.

                      http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/58...ght=#post50771
                      These @BeyondTheStatic's codes for NES game "Super Mario Bros. 2" are never added - in database they even does not exist:
                      All GameGenie codes that are for PRG1 version of the game contained in post #9;
                      All codes in post #12 except "Walk Through Walls" GG code that already exists on database;
                      All @BeyondTheStatic's GG codes that are for PRG0 version only contained in post #13;
                      RPG0 GameGenie code in post #17;
                      All PRG0 codes in post #18.

                      @BeyondTheStatic's code for NES game "Rollerball" from post #2 - one more GG code, never added at all.

                        I added rimsky's codes, BeyondTheStatic's Rollerball code and his Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt landscape modification codes. I'll add the rest later if no one gets to them before me.

                          Sorry. My mistake.

                          I also found a few codes that are not in database. I hope you, dear @Demonic722 for their adding:

                          http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/51...NES?highlight=
                          Single unadded code for "Guardian Legend, The" for NES. (@BeyondTheStatic is said that his code is incomplete).

                          http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/53...NES?highlight=
                          About following @BeyondTheStatic's GG codes for SNES game "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past", seems nobody added them yet:
                          All GG codes in posts #7 and #12.

                          http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/50...of-Zelda-(NES)
                          In database all @nuomega457's PAR codes in post #1 are missing.

                          http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/52...uikoden-II-(U)
                          All codes contained in this thread for "Suikoden II" game for PSX (Playstation) are made by @Pyriel, but none of them are added. Page with codes for that Playstation game in database even contains only codes with credits to different hackers, but nothing of Pyriel's codes with credit to him.

                          http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/43...-V-Advance-EUR
                          Both codes inside in this thread are not added at all. I've unable to understand and I don't know actually for what game platform that game "Final Fantasy V Advance [EUR]" is.

                          http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/41...-Action-Replay
                          All @Feral's codes for "Pokemon Soul Silver / Heart Gold" for Nintendo DS in this thread are missing in database, as that Nintendo DS game even is not present on game list with Nintendo DS PAR codes.

                            Please, chroniclers, don't add that cheat until I have fixed it! I thought it would stay buried until I could test it further. Chances are there's nothing wrong with it, but it was made back when FCEUX had compare byte issues, and I remember it giving me trouble after I made that post.
