Private Messaging Suggestion...

I have a private messaging suggestion. When you reply to a private message, I think it would be a good idea to have the replies in the same message thread instead of having a new message thread show up each time you reply. For example, if I message Johnny and he replies back to me and then I reply back to him and he replies back again... Instead of having 2 private message threads from Johnny, it can just be 1 message thread where Johnny and I can see the previous messages all in the same thread. Instead of having to open multiple "reply messages" from the same person regarding the same conversation. This same "private messaging reply thread" should only be for when someone sends a message through the reply option. For example, If I send Johnny two separate messages, then they should not be in the same thread. Only "reply messages" should be in the same message thread. I hope what I'm saying makes sense. It's hard to put it into words what I'm thinking. It's just a suggestion because sometimes it's a pain having to look through different private messaging threads from the same person, replying multiple times to remember what they said. Did what I tried to explain make sense? lol

This would be a great vB mod, but PMs are treated as individual threads in vB, so there would be problems, such as users deleting old PMs, and conversations no longer making sense...and probably various other issues. Also, all the individual PMs would still exist, unless there was some way to automatically filter them out based on PM title, which could potentially be a dangerous thing to do, as it might filter legitimately new PMs with the same title, if the title is simple enough.

Anyway, I looked around, and there doesn't seem to be a vB mod for this.
