  • Television forum?

I just think that with a general gaming forum, we should have a general television forum, unless there is one and I am to blind to notice.

Hmm...I don't think there's enough of a demand for a forum dedicated to TV...when you could just use the Hangout for that anyway. Not that I'm against it or anything...if anybody else thinks it's a good idea, we can add one.

Ok, so let's say I make, I don't know 800 accounts and type the following: We believe it is a good idea
Would that change your mind? Heh, on a more serious note, to the hangout robin.

Heh, I was thinking of that..."I wonder, if CF really wanted a TV forum, would he just make a few accounts and start a petition?".

A few?!? A FEW?! Now see here LB, I don't do few, I suffer from what I dubbed "lack of anger" and if I want to make 800 accounts, I will, heh. Seriously it was a joke.

I kinda feel like theres too much forums sometimes. I'm glad the RO and GSHI battle forums were merged. Especially since noone uses the RO forum really.

Actually, maybe we could do this... Combine the Emulation, Backup topics with the General Gaming forum. And then we can rename what is left as Television and anime. Or something like that.

Not a bad idea, when you think about anime is just a type of cartoon, so a forum for television and anime would work.

Yeah, I like it. If I'm not too lazy/busy, I'll do that today.

Yeah, I don't think any anime's make it to the theatre in the US. Most of the time we see it legit is thru our televisions. Many see it thru their computer monitors tho.

A few have, like for example Spirited Away and Innocence were both shown in theaters (though both had very limited runs and weren't in that many places). But so far I don't think there have been any anime movies that were widely released in theaters yet.

I know I will get flamed for this and it more than likely has sod all to do with anime, but what you see in Japan is nothing to what you see after Americas gets it's hands on it.

From time to time, we get decent anime. Instead of watching dubbed, American-ized stuff, you can just watch an accurately subbed (even fansubbed) anime instead. Though it's technically not anime, I thought FFVII: Advent Children was better in Japanese, subbed.

Innocence was shown subtitled. Even the dvd release has no dub.
