  • Can't add codes or groups

When I try to add a new code or group to a game, it doesn't save the requested changes.

Steps to reproduce bug (must have permission to add codes):
    1. Go to game page
    2. Click Add and select group or code from the drop-down menu
    3. Type in requested changes
    4. Click "Save Changes"
    5. Changes will appear to have not saved. Refresh the page and it will be the same.

Any one else by with code adding permissions experiancing this problem? It's at least happening on this page: http://gamehacking.org/game/104091

I was able to add a group just fine, it's just that you have to add a code to that group before you can see the group in the page, otherwise it will be invisible. But if you check the group field when adding a code, you'll see that all groups are there.

As for adding a code, it did give me an error. So I guess you would have to wait for rimsky to take a look at it:

However, my test codes were added in spite of getting that error message. I tested other page and got no error message. So there's something weird with that page.

The issue of adding a cheat seems to have fixed itself, however I did see the same error you saw when I tried adding 2 cheats at once. It also appeared when modifying a cheat with a mod setting.

It wasn't clear that a cheat needed to be added for the group to be added. Perhaps the option to add a group could be added to the cheat entry page by typing a group new name if a desired group isn't already in the drop-down box.

      Thanks for your response.

Groups with zero codes won't show up (for obvious reasons). So just create the group first, then once you are adding your codes, select the group you just created.

By the way, if you delete a group with codes inside, the codes will not be deleted, instead, they will be moved to the default page (the Top Group, as the database calls it).
