  • Database ate some codes while moving.

I was moving some codes from the Playstation Capcom vs SNK Pro (Euro) to the Capcom vs SNK Pro Millennium Fight (USA) page and the codes were never moved, and they are not on the original page anymore either.

The codes I moved where in the Character Modifiers Player 1 group. Since I can't move groups, I selected the 4 codes, and on the top menu I picked Selected -> Move (Game). I typed the name of the game, and chose the USA version. The codes were removed from the Euro page, but were not added to the USA page. Just in case, I made sure the USA page also had a group called Character Modifiers Player 1.

As a test, I copied (Selected -> Copy ) a code in the TOP group, and that one was copied fine. I tried moving it, and it moved fine. I then tried copying a code from another group, and it didn't copy.
So I assume the problem is that codes that aren't in the TOP group, will not move or copy to another game correctly.

Also, please restore the codes to the original Euro page. The codes were the following (please only restore those codes, not the others that were moved):

Character Modifier 1, 2, 3, 4 found in the Character Modifiers Player 1 group.
Character Modifier 1 found in the Character Modifiers Player 2 group.

Fixed, it is now safe to move or copy grouped codes between games. It will also copy the group along with the code. Let me know if you find any bugs, as the code is still fresh in my mind.

As for the lost codes, I'll try to get codes orphaned from groups to show up in the main. They should show up in the game you moved/copied them to. Then you can create the new group and move them to it, and that should fix that.

Edit: Games should be showing codes that have a group ID, but that group doesn't exist. That should fix our missing code problems. Or in other words, the database is regurgitating them.
Please put all complaints in writing and submit them here.

        Thanks for the fix!

I moved the remaining group and the group name moved too. The missing codes showed up too.

I don't usually move codes/groups between games, but if I ever notice something else, I'll let you know. But this one time, everything worked fine.
