  • Can't edit old codes that are under blue sub-categories...

Hi. I ran into a problem, or maybe I'm missing something here. When I go to an old code list and expand one of the blue bars (groups), there's no option anymore to edit individual codes under that group. I'm trying to fix some old code descriptors that used accents, umlauts, macrons, etc. that are strangely no longer supported in the site's new format. There is an edit icon on the blue bar itself, but it doesn't do anything when I click it. Help?

Are they your codes? If you are only in the hacker group, you can only edit your own.

Edit: On investigating, you're correct. I can't edit in groups, either. I'll look into it.

...Also, where are the Master Codes? I'm looking at the PS1 section and lots of games that I submitted PAL to NTSC Codes or Mod-Chip Protection Bypass Codes that were formerly listed as 'master codes' are completely missing. Same thing goes for other sections (N64, PS2) that had master codes.

I now went to Super Mario Bros. 3 (Europe) page for NES http://gamehacking.org/game/31023 and I can't expand subcategories! Clicking the arrow located right on subcategory's name under Opera (ver. 30.0.1835.125) does nothing, which means codes inside subcategories are not accessible in any way. Downward arrows on codes fields themselves (located under "Edit" / "Delete" ones) also don't work at all so you can't view full codes' notes in case they are longer than two rows!

Also, when I was loaded "New Posts" page with the new look thread names appeared cut off - I could see only top parts of characters (letters, digits, signs), but bottom part was not visible!

On the feature for upload files, I found also the "insert Inline" and "Done" Buttons on the bottom right corner of window also don't work - I tried least 10 times to press "Done" button after I've attached my image, but NO SUCCESS, buttons just doesn't respond on any mouse clicks!

Not completely fixed... I tried to edit a code in a group and it gave me a 'bad argument' warning and totally deleted the code. When I tried to 'add new code' to put the code back in the group, the only choice for where to put the code is 'Top', so I can't seem to put it back in the group again.

I'm trying to fix codes in "Akumajo Dracula X - Gekka no Yasoukyoku (NTSC-J)" (Playstation) under multiple groups, but let's start with "Accessories/Jewels". I tried adding a new code from scratch to replace a lost code, but every time I enter the code and press 'Save', the code is not added. Seems like I can't add or fix any codes at all right now.

Oh, and the code was "Have Brisingamen" 30097A8A 0063. It's disappeared completely.

I fixed the forum post titles. There may be other css issues in the forum. Everything else worked in Opera for me. Make sure your Flash plugin for Opera is updated.

Looks like your issue is hacker related, as opposed to Chronicler/Admin. The code never was deleted, it just removed your credit. I restored your credit, and I'll look into that next.

Thanks! One last thing - the edit button on the blue bar itself (to edit a group name) doesn't work. Seems kinda pointless to change the name of a group, but every now and then I find one I added ages ago that has a spelling error or typo of some kind and it's nice to be able to fix it. Thanks a lot for the other fixes.

I tested my ability to add codes again, and it is nicely fixed. It doesn't let me choose any group other than 'Top', but I guess I can always add a code, then edit that code to move it to the correct group.

Both fixed. You gotta be able to select a group when adding.
                            Thanks for the heads up.
