  • This MSX game needs to be split.

A found a problem with the game Dragon Slayer II Xanadu on the MSX section.

The MSX is not just one machine, there's MSX, MSX2, MSX2+, MSX Turbo, and all of them are different with different games just like the Gameboy is different from the Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance.

While I don't expect the database to actually list each MSX system with their respective games, there are some games that came for multiple MSX's and those should be split. Case in point Dragon Slayer II Xanadu. There's an MSX version and there's an MSX2 version. I made codes for both versions, but both codes are under one entry on the site.

Could someone please split the game into two entries named: Dragon Slayer II Xanadu (MSX) and Dragon Slayer II Xanadu (MSX2)?

Hmm...should each of these requests have its own thread, or would it be cleaner to combine them in some way?
    I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

Well, there's only one request: to split Dragon Slayer II Xanadu.

But if you want you can forget about it. I just moved each code into two groups called "MSX1 version" and "MSX2 version".

      *edit*
Oh wait, you mean my other threads?
I think it's cleaner to have them in separate threads, that way it doesn't look like I'm writing a book of requests. That's just my opinion, of course.

Were multiple versions of the game released for the various MSX machines? (I know there were many)

If there is only one version of the game, I'd say make separate groups for each system variance.
Please put all complaints in writing and submit them here.

Above link not working? Try here.

Yes, several games had the same game ported from one machine to the other, or made from scratch using the same name. Just like there were Gameboy games ported to the GBC.

But having just one game on the database and splitting the consoles inside the game's entry is fine too. Just like what I did in this case.
