  • Can the "Last edited by" be disabled?

I have noticed admins can edit their pages and it won't say this. So can it be turned off for others?

I believe it can be, and may be if edited within so much time after the original post.

I like the settings the way they are. Other admins can weigh in, though.
Please put all complaints in writing and submit them here.

Above link not working? Try here.

What I'm asking is if it can be optional so if some people want it off they can, or others can keep it on if they like.

What are you talking about? I just don't like it appearing on the bottom of the page.

its there to notify users and staff, that you update your post with new contents or remove contents.

I'm pretty sure they already know what was edited and when it was edited. Then again maybe not.

They wont able tell when an user's post was edited, without "Last edited" option

This opton is on default on all vBulletin software

this no different its same on CMP, psx scene or any other site forums.

Heh, I remember when I requested this feature when I was a Moderator for Moderators. I don't think there's an option to toggle between the two for normal users (a modification to the vBulletin code is required), but the interval from the time you post until you update can be extended before the message appears.

Now this question arises: how much time do you need to quick edit? Currently and if I remember correctly, the interval is set to 0. This means that even if you were somehow as fast as light, you couldn't beat that damn clock. I'm all for extending it to at least one minute or slightly more if the other Admins agree.
I only bother with things that interest me.

Sure Extend it, I hate that in other forums too especially after the damn typos are noticed.
