They'd really need to add more interesting stuff to the old game. Something like how Pong was for the PS1 where there were many very strange levels.

On the contrary, the recent reincarnations of Tetris have been disappointing to me. Tetris Worlds, etc... The added features and game modes are annoying. I would like the gameplay of the 8/16-bit era, pre-Tetris 2, with only graphics and sound updates.

If that is a real screenshot of the new Tetris, I will be severely disappointed. I have just about every version of Tetris, and my favorite is Gameboy, followed by SNES since it allowed classic two-player action.
