Okay... I have an issue/question and wish help please. If possible. I am thinking mostly those with GameBoy can help answer me (Helder and Serge) and maye other who have GameBoy or such.

Anywya, I ahve 'only' the GameBoy Advanced Player for the GameCube. I love it alot, but in one game, it confusses me and draws up issues. That game is A legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past/Four Swords. ...and the issue is... when I choose to play the Four Swords game, it says it is 'checking for aditional GBA systems hooked up) and well...it stays that way....

I thought maybe it is because well I am not using the little hand helad GBA system? Is That why? and well, can that all be fixxed or by-passed somehow?

Well that really is the issue really, I know (well, I think it is not the same four swords adventure/game that just came out for the GC, looking at that but not got it yet, however...was and have been wondering on this GBA one for a good while now, so any ideas, any by-passes of fixxes or such, please?

Strange note, but maybe has alot of truth, my brother said, 'maybe' that is why in a small part Four Swrods was released for the GameCube, sure a bigger game with abit lot more, but as we all (My family, frinds and I, well my family and friends who play and enjoy vidoe games) my brother made the point and I see it being a small bit true, that they (The big N) made Four swords for GC because you cannot get this GBA fru swords to play on the Cube. umm well maybe?

you can't get four swords to work because its a multiplayer only game, which means you need to link another gba with four swords with it...you can't play a single player game with it..

replying to an old topic but,its true it only activates when you have i think 2-4 people hooked up,i got it to work on an emultator but its a pain controlling 2 characters together,it might be possible to make a code to access the game, like a menu modifier but how would you controll all 4 players?

That...is the kind of thing that I would hack.

I keep saying I'll get into GBA hacking, and it's too bad I have yet to gather enough resources to develop a better way to hack the next-gen systems...but it just eats at me that I can't hack this right now...
        I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

Well, I would be interested in the game and playing it, if it is possible to do. (I mean it is whole A Link To The Past game) plus four swords so is ncie with just A Link To The Past alone, but I tried Four Swords and was all like well, I have no GBA just the GBA player on GameCube) and I have a few controlers, so why is this mess not working...always sitting there (not for a long time, I am not a dunst. :P ) But sitting for a few seconds awaiting for it to tell me 'awaiting for me to hook up the other GBA systems' and I am all like ----Okay that game was a watse of money. :P

i guess you will need the gba hookup cable to the gamecube to make the game read tha there is another gba,but not sure on that, but looking at my gbaplayer i see what looks like a USB similair port, that is like the link cable port on a real gba so like adding 1+1=2 we have our answer. To play the fourswords you need a link cable and hook it up into that and then hook it to another gba,and i know you no dunst, very far from it.

ummm Okay, well I am sorry am abit confuesed with it all, but I was looking at those cable connections for a long while now 'wondering' what they are for. I am guessing, Okay well 'assummming' and making an ass of myself. :P The cable connection on the GBA Player on GameCube (right above where the game slot is) I am thinking that is a GBA link cable connection, sense I have no cables that hook to there. Has to be a GBA system cable thing.

The other connection is itself on the GBA AR, and that one fits a normal 'exit' USB cable. (like the printers and scanners and such are hooked up today) That I have cables for and can get hooked to PC, not sure what it is all for, but maybe it is something interesting?

As for this GBA link cable, I saw some of those for sale at GameStop.... the cable alone, like $2.00 heh so err is that something I need or should get though have no GBA to hook it to? Again just wodnering as is, am abit confused as to all the cable links and mess.

Yes to make it work and for the price i would get it,you need the gba cables you mentioned but without another gba to hook it up or if you have another Game Cube and gba player i think you can hook em both up,but not too sure on the 2 Game Cube hook ups.
