  • Inexplicable Game-Freeze Issue on my PSP Go

For no apparent reason, whilst playing my SNES emulator on my PSP Go, it froze up completely randomly while I was playing a modded version of "Super Mario World". Now, this game had never caused any problems before, so I have no explanation at all as to why my PSP decided to freeze up. It's in fairly good shape (besides the slightly loose slide, which still stays in place, there is nothing else wrong with it), so the PSP's condition cannot be called into question. It might have something to do with the cheat device I was using (the somewhat unstable TempAR 1.63 beta), but I'm beginning to call that into question as well, because I've taken the liberty of eliminating all known scenarios which could lead to a game-freeze issue.

However, my game still found a way to freeze, and I would like to know why my games freeze completely out of the blue. It is a very aggravating thing to have happen to anyone, so why does it keep happening to me, when I have a much harder time dealing with aggravation than the "average" person, given that I have Asperger syndrome?
    Tempus fugit, ergo, carpe diem.

Asperger syndrome has nothing to do with it. It's time for you to invest in another PSP go.

When you are using custom firmware, it's a good idea to buy 2 systems if you can afford it, so you have a backup in case anything goes wrong.

I have another bizarre issue in svr 11 where, following my Goldberg caw getting swerved by Mr. McMahon, Goldberg worked his way back to 75 percent momentum, then landed a knee drop substitute sig at ringside, then delivered the Jackhammer, at which point the game froze. The game had auto-saved after the last match on the same show, so the failure to save bug cannot be implicated. Every time this freeze has happened, though, a caw was involved.
