GS Central is down...

I have noticed that GS Central has been down for several days. However, I believe they may be renovating, as the title page is still up.

Several days ago, somebody hacked into ************** and gained "admin status" through an exploit in a new patch made by vbulletin, and that person got a hold of every single mod and admin's password and completely wiped out their accounts. Rune, Nensondubois,Aaron, and Ralf had their accounts deleted.

After Rune got everybody's accounts back to normal, he went to update the site.

I noticed the main page wouldn't display codes anymore. Was wondering what happened.

Just got hacked again and all moderators/administrators were deleted.


I have tried and tried to buy a vB 5 licence with multiple browsers (IE, Chrome, etc.) and even on my mobile phone. The server doesn't keep me logged in and won't let me buy vB 5.


Any solutions?

Nevermind. If you go to the upgrade.html page, which is nowhere to be seen on your website (found it here in the forums) the cart will work. Otherwise no one will be able to buy vB 5 it seems...

Xenforo is good forum software with some nice features! GBATemp is first time to using that software and then NGEmu (EmuForum) will using same one. I hope this forum (GameHacking) will using same software soon.

UPDATED FROM GSCENTRAL WEBSITE

(11/12/13): Rune is currently backing up the boards and preparing the move to a new host. Hang tight! We are extremely grateful to David for hosting GSCentral since 2006 but we are now both mutually ready to host the website elsewhere.

I hope GSCentral website will back to normal soon.

Update (11/18/13):-

We are in the process of moving the domain over from its current host to the newer one. This takes time to do. This will be GSCentral's biggest move since 2006 so the site downtime is unavoidable unfortunately.

His staff is a bit slow. I remember the site had downtime like this before and Rune would continue to post updates that weren't viewable.

Here's the latest update, from Rune, I assume:

Update (12/03/13): It's all up to Dave and I have not heard from him in quite some time. I am paying for hosting GSCentral and cannot upload anything until he transfers the domain over to its new home.

Wow, it's still down. I thought power hungry/obsessed Rune owned and ran every aspect of that site. And that his brother was the one who did website modification for him.... such as creating the database for him etc. So it's surprising he doesn't have access. But IDK.

Well, you have to remember that Rune is out doing things mere mortals can only dream of, like having a girlfriend, and using the ad revenue from 20,000 (!!!) unique impressions per month to treat her to the big-ticket items on the Burger King menu. I bet you didn't even know there was such a thing as a Triple-Whopper, pleb.
