  • The 'Native American' 'Rain Dance'....

Okay, this is in no way a race thing, but was a joke again that George Carlin guy told, and well heck, it was soemthing to indeed think about....

What he said pretty much in his comedy bit was the following....

How come their is NEVER any Native American rain dance 'practice'? I mean over the years, well for sure maybe someone has got it wrong, as is most things as we go on into the future we do forget the past alot, kids never listen to their parents as they parents wish and all that.

So really, for sure rain dancing is all forgottened, I would have to agree with George on really, we have some Native American people here, so will ask, again not in a bad way, but really, is rain dancing soemthing you all learn from parents or such?

Anyway moving on with George here as he said, with all the forgetting mess of the world today and today's generations 'always' not holding on to the past, why is there no such thing, really now as rain dance practice?

The next part he goes into (where it gets funny and the 'joke' comes from really now) 'HOW' will you know the 'practice' works? I mean will it start to rain? And if so, if it does rain, why the heck (heck my word, hell his word now) why the heck do you need the true rain dance 'dance' if practice will get it done, heck, just have a practice.

Again more funny when he said it and you had to listen and pay attention, but was and is funny, and indeed does make even me wonder that also.

Again that George Carlin guy is funny, but well again is yes one of those not well liked because he does make fun of some touchy issues as well, but anyway, not as a racist issue here at all, but had to post this and well also ask this as well.

Truely, if the 'practice' works in causing it to rain, why do we need the 'real deal' dance? Now, I would go west towaeds Lumberton and ask the Lumbee Tribe there, but they do tend to frown 'really' on asking them how they work. Again not sure why every group of people in the world has to be 'assholes' but well seems each group is (yes true sorry but indeed true) ask the KKK why the think how they do, they get pissed, (once they find I am European) I know I have done it, ask the AACP that 'black' group or any black group, they get pissed ebcause I am not 'black' and think I am trying to take the black 'down', and same thing for even the Native American Tribes people, ask anything like that and they get all defensive like someone is after them or something, I just do not understand people who gather in a group that way.

I don't recall my tribe having a rain dance. We have a sun dance. But Sun dances don't have much to do with the weather I think.

Ah, well, just made me wonder is all really, again no way here knocking any Native Americans, and well not knowing much of anything about them really otherwise, I had to ask, because well, again it was on that George Carlin 'show' whcih yes as said is not too 'kind' or correct, but is funny, and mess he says does make you think and wonder why.

I mean again no disrespect at all, but for those who have rain dances, how do you 'practice' and know that it works, like George said, if it rains when you practice, why need the whole dance, just again have practices.

Otherwise, what I find really funny right now this day anyway, hehe go check out that gif image joke I posted about 'Krow fed up with GSHI chat' again not being mean, but that IS funny----bloody but well not 'too' grapic hehe  (Or even that Charlie Brown thing) both images I just ran across this morning and laughed at them both for a good while.
