Has anyone read this? I'm not sure all of that is completely accurate, but it might be. I guess I'm a repeat offender lol. Anyways, I got a chuckle out of that read.

U.S. copyright laws state that copyrights owned by corporations are valid for 75 years from the date of first publication. Because video games have been around for less than three decades, the copyrights of all video games will not expire for many decades to come

I like how they state the backup rule being that an owner may make a copy for his own usage in case of damage, yet later they say that game copying devices are illegal because they can be used to do illegal things. That's like saying guns are illegal because they can be used to kill people.
I think that a lot of what they say is correct, however it is worded to scare the reader into submission.

yea that's what I think too. I've even heard corny rumors of DMCA agents lurking on ROM website forums trying to catch the urchins... so you better not download any illegal ROMs, Bobby don't 'cha know.Originally posted by rimsky82 View Posthowever it is worded to scare the reader into submission.Last edited by OldSchoolGamer; 10-17-2013, 02:25:42 AM.Now broadcasting from the underground command post.
