which Game did you cosider was good, but never got any hype with it?

for me it was:
Trayia(genesis)
a good RPG for its time, I loved the plot and the graphics wheren't that bad either..first RPG I ever played on the genesis

Secret of the Stars(SNES)
only RPG that tecmo ever attempted, I loved the plot of this game..despite the graphic's wheren't very good...first RPG I ever played on the snes

U.N. Squadron(SNES)
This game had me playing it for hours on end, one of the first SNES games I ever played, a 2d plane shooter that had some good music in it

and thats all that I can think of for now...whats your guys favorite unsung Game?

don't know how much hype it got, but I know I liked Downhill Domination for PS2. It made me buy a PS2. But it wasn't a big commercial success. It was pretty well put together and I was sure there was gonna be knockoffs and sequels, but that never happened.

Kung Fu Heroes NES- quirky game beat up on other big headed dudes.
Xevious multisystem - old fashioned no ending kind of shooter, with air and ground targets to shoot at and bomb.
Galaga - this game was a hit, the sequel Galaga 88 wasn't, but one hell of a twitch shooter, with cute enemies, and an actual ending after level 29.

And last but not least Mappy (arcade, NES, PSX Namco Museum Volume 2, PS2 Namco Museum 50th Anniversary - you control Mappy the mouse of the micropolice, your job is to collect stolen items from Goro (original Japanese name Nyamco) and his cronie mewkie cats. Collect items in order, and in pairs to score big points. This game saw two sequels (original game is very old but fun) Mappy Land, and Mappy Kids, the latter 2 saw U.S. NES releases, the original game is NES Japan only (play it on emulator unless you own a Japanese NES). The NES version though lacks the high score name entry table, and the little animation of Nyamco falling off the house after.

Definitely Der Langrisser...I fucking love that game. Unfortunately, you'll need to emulate, and grab the translation pack by NoLife, unless you don't mind getting the actual goods, and reading Japanese text.
