    What is the precise color specs of the "Blue Screen of Death"?

    What is the precise color specs of the "Blue Screen of Death"? Meaning, what is the Hue? Sat? Lum?

    The reason why I ask is because I want to use that precise color blue as a background for something. So ya know how you can change/customize the color, I need to know precisely what to choose/type in.

      HTML #2067B2

      RGB (32,103,178)

      CMYK (58,30,0,31)

      HSV (210,82,70)

      I used Pixie to get these color values.

      Pixie is a utility made especially for webmasters and designers. It is a color picker with few extra goodies.

      Run it, simply point to a color and it will tell you the HEX, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV values of that color. You can then use these values to reproduce the selected color in your favorite programs. Pixie will also show the current coordinates of your mouse pointer.

      It is the only tool for you to work with colors.

        I looked at that, where does it give the precise Windows XP color specifications for the Blue Screen of Death? I need to be able to enter the specs in the settings window I posted above. So where on that Wikipedia page is the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) located?

        Edit: RGB isn't listed, but HTML color code was. I searched how to convert it to RGB, which is RGB = 0, 0, 170. When I originally searched the Wikipedia page, I searched key words like Saturation, Hue, Lumination... which explains why I couldn't find my desired results.

          Thanks dlever. But I forgot to mention I was looking for the Windows XP Blue Screen of Death color, not Windows 8 or whatever.

          I think it's RGB = 0, 0, 170
