Two Unreleased NES Prototypes Have Been Released!!!!

Hard Drivin' - Some might remember this arcade innovative classic. This is sooo cool and very impressive port.

Dino Hockey - Unfortunately this one is too glitchy and practically unplayable, but still nice to see 'what could have been'.

Damn! I want to play it just to see how well the 3D gfx engine performs, but I don't have a NES flashcart

No need, you can play it on emulator.

"Tengen during a tumultuous time spent mainly in courtrooms with Nintendo and, yes, to provide a digital download of the game so that people can finally give it a shot. We still do that sometimes. "

Cool proto. Man, I don't even remember the last time I played an NES game (not even via emulation).

I remember Hard Drivin', though. A relative of mine had the Genesis version. That Phantom racer was a pain at times to beat. The loop got me most of the time, but I would jokingly tap the cow afterwards, to feel better when I lost. I didn't even know he existed, until said relative of mine showed him to me.

Which emulator? FCEUX seems to run it better than Nestopia and VirtuaNES, but it's still really buggy. I don't think I have the latest emulator versions, though.

the only way to play it glitch free is on a cart with the rom files burned to chips emulators and flash carts won't work

Try VirtuaNES. IIRC, that emulator ran the game best.
