I'm feeling pretty good cause I found a Mortal Kombat Plug and play for sale at a store. I didn't feel like shelling out the money for it then and there so I was just gonna leave it, but my girl gave me the idea of putting it on layaway and picking it up later. Well, thats just what I did so I now have the original Mortal Kombat arcade game to look forward too. I have it emulatable on my computer but that isn't the same as playing it on TV. I don't have any kind of system now so this will be my system, I'll probably buy myself something later but I will love to try this out for a while. Pretty sweet eh?

Got a new toy on Layaway....
Those Plug N' Play games are great, and heck also getting very rare also these days, as it at alot of stores is a HOT item.
I have a Plug N' Play Atari, blahhh npt the version 2 which I am looking for sometime soon here, but the first one they made and well, they are 2600 games so nt as advanced as Mortal Kombat is but still fun, even without cheat devices as well all those Plug N' Play games are and will have to be.
Anyway, those things are great,, and I can see MK also being well loved specialy by a MK fan, as for myself, I am pretty contecnt with my MK Trilogy on PSX but ehh it is getting old, maybe one day soon they will make a whole other one. (MK Trilogy type, I LOVED the MK series for awhile there while it was 'good' heh you know, but for me the charatcers and such, MK Trilogy is the best for my blood anyway.) Now they had a Midway 'collection' games on XBox and PS2 and such, and my friend got it for XBox and I will and must say DAMN MK2 and MK3 ON that disc is hard as frozen piss. (kinda also why I love games that can have some type of cheat device and well cheta device wise XBox sucks even my balls and I do not even have balls to suck----yes that is how sucky it is)
In any case on topic, those plug n' play games are wonderful and getting rare, I would like to find myself a MK around, but as said they are getting rare, so far I only have the first Atari thingy, and looking for version #2 and it is no longer found on the store shelves. ALL of everything was there the day before Thanksgiving of 2005, I will tell you then the day after and all of December the Christmas season of buying gifts, it ALL vanished fast.
I am sure like the first Atari thing they will ofcorse ship out more this year, so am sure will grab it sometime, but otherwise, nice move Hiro, MK and the perfect Plug N' Play that one is sounds wonderful, as is I read reviews on it and it's marks are pretty perfect, pretty much like having the arcade of MK in the palm of your hand. So I know a great thing
Now otherwise the only 'issue' with me and the Plug N' Play is, well they all are great alot of titles, and well no cheating darn it, it seems, but so fra that suits me well, heck if there was any cheating at all other then 'glitches' on the old Atari 2600 (hehe go through 'tunnels' on any Pac Man/Ms. Pac Man game over and over long enough and you start going through the 'walls' and ghosts cannot hurt you and last for the entire game too...High score of that glitch time was some 99999999999 hehe or well til the AC adaptor blew out from the heat. :P but otherwise, the only other issue with me and Plug N' Play is well.... all my VRL cables are in the back of any and all my sets...ah-ha I see why now some sets have them on the front, so otherwise I have to plug through my VCR and DVD players and mess blahhh but ehh is life hehe, and toehrwise, well yes batteries do not hold out all forever, but again that is my whole issue with ALOT of battery mess, the PSP, the Plug N' Play the WalkMans (WalkWOMEN) and all else... they really these days in our age of computer smarts and all else, they really need to make a battery that last longer then a few hours, the year is 2006 and battery life these days are just a real joke in what is supposed to be the most tecnical advanced time of the whole world timeline even.

uhhuh YEs He was very lucky to get it because it was the last one on the shelf. And seening his face, that he really wanted it ( Just like a little kid, wanting something really bad) That is why I suggested that he could have it layaway. Which work out.
I think its going to keep him busy at it, although, I was not able to get it out just yet. Thursday for sure. This will be cool to see. I know hiro is always looking for something interesting regarding the games. I think it would be fun to try this also. I remember playing the games like this little gadget back home. But Im not as good as I like to be. thats what makes it interesting when you try a new games and just having fun.

Yeah, it has been a while since I found a game that held my intrest for very long. But I think this mortal kombat will be something I will like to play from time to time.
I also saw one of those Atari retro system things too. I thought it woulda been kinda cool to get, but I didn't get it. I plan on at least buying one of those joysticks that has pacman on it. There is also one out there that has Sonic the Hedgehog on it, that would be something nice to have.

Yup, I finally got to play it, it took 4 AA Batteries, I first tried it at my bros. They really enjoyed it. I like it too. I don't think it's quite an exact port of the arcade. Some things seem changed. But it's pretty close. Now I just got to get those other joysticks to build my collection some more.
