If you didn't already download the PC port of Final Fantasy VII upon its recent re-release, you'll be pleased to know it has just arrived on Steam - bringing along 36 achievements to scout out and partial controller support.
Despite arriving much after its original announcement, SquareEnix's 3 Gb digital download is still worth adding to your Steam library as yet another excuse to indulge in the 1997 role playing epic.
While the main core of the game remains unchanged and as you remember, there have, however, been some new additions other than the welcome achievements and cloud saves. The all new addition of Final Fantasy VII's 'Character Booster' allows those struggling to progress through the game easy access to maximum HP, MP and Gil.
Nevertheless, who can refuse playing through Final Fantasy VII once more? At £9.99 on Steam you can finally enjoy this classic RPG at half the price it commands on eBay. Then again, if you're after a more polished version of the title there is always the fan made High Definition restoration patch for Final Fantasy VII.
