oh my god, the new film by studio Ghibli is going to be an adaption of A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin!

I sooo can't wait, I hope it's good and at least somewhat true to the books...

I don't know what Ghlibi is. At first I thought it was a typo of GSHI. I spose I should google it. But yeah, it's good to have more adventure films like that out there. I don't suppose you have seen Ghormanghast have you? It's made off a fantasy type of book. I didn't read the book but it's a good movie. I don't think it was released in theatre's. I just saw it on PBS and BBC.

Studio Ghibli = Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc.

All very good films. All possible to be liked even by non-anime fans.

Actually, I was referring to the Earthsea stuff... Bleh, got to get a computer so I can finally get around to watching Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies...

I downloaded Tales of Earthsea. it wasn't bad.

It will be a while before it is released in the US seeing as there is already a movie with that title. Ah I never noticed this Studio Ghibli thread before. I <3 Slurp Spiders.
