Woman kills husband, self while learning to park

A woman tragically killed her husband and herself while backing up her car in an underground parking garage in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province in China on June 18 as their 6 year old daughter watched in horror from inside the car.

Qianjiang Evening News reported 41 year old driver surnamed Lin, who was issued a driver’s license in May, was practicing backing up her Lexus RX270 SUV into a parking space as her husband directed from behind, when she backed up too far and pinned him against the wall.

According to the report, Lin stuck her head out the window upon hearing her husband’s scream, and accelerated in an attempt to move forward. She however forgot to change gears from reverse to drive, which not only killed him instantly but caused her head to get stuck between the car and a wall along the parking space.

Rescue team arrived soon after but Lin died from her sustained injuries in a nearby hospital, said the report. The couple’s 6 year old daughter saw the entire tragedy unfold from inside the car.

A source surnamed Yang said that Lin had successfully parked in the space once before that day, but her husband asked her to do it again because she needed the practice.

This is why WOMEN SHOULD NEVER DRIVE. They are worthless at driving I have seen women that are good drivers on traffic but at the driving the car backward never. But that does not make them excellent drivers they are still worthless. I would never trust a women that drives.And if somebody would dare to ask the question "You have something against the female drivers?" then I would say to them "YES I HAVE A LOT AGAINST THEM." x(

Horrible news. A scary thing is that this almost happened to my sister in a garage when my grandfather was teaching her a little driving years ago. It wasn't the same kind of scary, more like 3 people in a pickup and almost driving through the wall of a tiny wooden garage with tool hanging all over the place.

So you've seen nothing but great drivers of every man you come across but every woman is a deadly dangerous driver? What are the odds somebody comes across all the right people to make the stereotype true?


I make the opposite true. I can drive, but I don't bother if I'm anywhere other than far out in the middle of nowhere where there's little to no traffic. A few too many life threatening encounters on the road every though I read and memorized every single thing in the state booklet of how to drive. As soon as they put EVERY little thing I need to know in order to drive properly and safely, I'll consider it again rather than almost unknowingly nearly getting myself killed a 4th time due to things I was never taught that apparently everybody else on Earth except me was born knowing. I didn't know what was with the vehicle far in front of me driving slowly with both back lights flashing, that was a close call on an icy road. It wasn't in the official booklet, nobody told me, but they all knew and thought I was psychic or something because I was "supposed" to know. Another was 2 unusual identical pickups with flashing lights coming down from a high hill. I thought it was odd, looked back for about 2 seconds to look at them, looked forward and swerved to miss a large truck with a trailer hauling an entire house over a large hill. No book said anything about knowing that, nor did anybody tell me, but apparently everybody knew this again except me. I was "supposed" to know again. I always feel the urge to choke the life out of anybody that tells me I was "supposed" to know something even though I went through the official books that as I see it are "supposed" to have this important stuff in them.


I remember reading a scientific journal report in the past year from England that was doing something involving men and women drivers. Things seemed about the same for both, but they noticed the women did noticeable better at parking within lines, as in they were usually more close to the center than men. Could have been coincidence though. From where I live, everybody sucks at driving and there's no way I'm driving with others on the road. Not 1 month goes by that I don't hear about a car accident. NOBODY seems to realize not to go the full 65 MPH when the fog is so thick you can't see 10 feet in front of you. MORONS and I'm not driving with them on the road. They also do that in heavy rain at night and during blizzards. I repeat, they are morons and too dangerous to risk my life for. I'm fine taking a bus and taxi, everybody else can have fun speeding 75 MPH down a pure ice hill in zero visibility fog and blizzards like idiots and continue to take part in car pileups and fatalities, not much sympathy in me.
