If the developers felt like they needed to include a training program in the beginning of the game for a friggin 16-bit Sonic game, maybe that should have told them something... something not good. Sonic's main attraction that Sega so heavily advertised was the fast paced action. Well, this 'buddy system' in Knuckes' Chaotix completely destroyed that attraction.

How do yous feel about the game... Do you guys like or dislike this game?
It's different, it's not as good as 1, 2 or 3 but at least it's not 3D blast/flickies. I like it somewhat, haven't finished it yet. Speaking of the buddy system, (sounds like something I used to hear when I was in school) it is annoying I agree with that, but it just feels better when playing the hacked version that replaced mighty with Sonic. I would play it more often if there was a 32x emulator for Wii.

I also hate those levels, I also agree with OSG about the casino night levels, great stuff. Those were the days...

Yeah, that was a fun level. I used to hit up a series of hidden ring dispensers at the upper left side of a building to rack up lives. And of course, getting up there required paddling/bouncing my way to the top, all of which were very enjoyable.

Sonic Rush has thingies and doohickies too, but they are either hard to use or added to keep you from falling into a badly-placed bottomless pit. That game has a disproportionately high number of pits for a sonic title. It wouldn't be so bad but the first few levels are littered with them. Classic sonic games saved the pits for later levels. And 'Rush's music sounds like it's calling you a "retard" with a digitized voice over and over again. I don't need that. Sure, I'm falling into pits left-and-right, but don't call me a retard

I like Chemical plant zone, & it's music out of all of them.

Perhaps SEGA ruined Sonic, not Sonic's "fans," hmm? I mean, have you guys played Sonic Rush for the DS? What a big-ass disappointment that game was. Its J-pop soundtrack combined with boring + annoying level designs really made that game a bummer. They should have brought back that 16-bit feeling by keeping to the game's successful elements. Take Sonic 2's Aquatic Ruin Zone, for instance. Best music in the series, IMO, and made for some memorable gaming moments. Sonic Rush, OTOH, was only like a distant echo of something great.

I'm pretty sure the /b/ros are more obsessed with My Little Pony and furries than Sonic.

It took me a moment to even think of 1 Sonic thing floating around on the internet. I forgot about the old Blonic videos I saw a while back, they made me laugh, along with that user's "Iron Bad" video. https://www.youtube.com/user/Ukinojoe

I wouldn't even want to know what 4chan has had for Sonic over time.

So this story is fake, correct? It would be ridiculous if it was true and that they would actually let perverts force the hand of major company decisions.

Thanks for the heads up, can't believe I fell for that.

The line "This show is meant for true Sega fans only, not Sonic the Hedgehog fans.” is what really bugged me, I mean SEGA probably wouldn't be as famous without Sonic in the first place, Sonic IS SEGA.
