  • Question about the Gameshark for the GBA

I've been looking into buying a Gameshark for the Gameboy Advance. On Ebay I noticed that there are two variations.

    There's this one:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Game-boy-Adv...0#ht_969wt_917

    And this one:

My question is do either of these hack games while you play them like the GS Pro for the PS1, PAR for SNES, or the PAR for the Sega Megadrive / Genesis?

Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

The SP version is just like the Codebreaker and accepts their codes and the other is the older Version but does have 1 rom code support if I remember correctly but they are both made by madkatz from the pictures. I know for sure the SP is a Codebreaker clone and the other not so sure.

The Gamehark Advance (v1/v2) is an Action Replay v1/v2 clone, and does have a rom write type. The device I'd like to get my hands on is the Action Replay Max (v3/v4), since it's codetypes are mostly identical to the ps2's ARMax, plus more. Very advanced code options compared to the others. Last time I looked at some prices they were pretty expensive though.

The only one I have is the GSSP, which is a CBA clone like helder said, which isn't bad since you can get them cheaper than the others.

Edit: looked at prices on ebay, looks like you'll be paying between $65 - $135 for original gamesharks/action replays (not sp), or action replay max's (v3/v4).
