Hey everyone.
So this year I started getting interested in the idea of live-streaming games. DarkSerge and I did some brief testing in January, but I haven't had the time or motivation to really get into it until now. Friday night I played Papers, Please live and it went really well (aside from one stream crash), and ~7 people got to watch me ruin my own life, the lives of my family, and the lives of many people trying to get into the country of Arstotzka.
Tonight I am thinking of streaming Surgeon Simulator 2013. If you want to check it out, you can do so at
http://www.twitch.tv/cadwr0
From there you can also see the archive of the Papers, Please stream.
When I start streaming I'll post an update here- it will likely be in a couple hours.
I'm most interested in streaming small mechanics-heavy experimental narrative games (stuff like Papers, Please and Cart Life) and weird little indie stuff like Surgeon Simulator 2013. I do think I'll do some streaming of old console games as well though, possibly something like A Link to the Past. I am also open to suggestions.
If you do watch, I hope it is informative and/or entertaining. I'm definitely open to feedback- I'm not used to being in front of a camera. I'm still getting used to the process of playing a game and talking about it at the same time, which is pretty clear on the Papers, Please video. When I tried talking a lot I tended to play slower and less effectively.
