Why wouldn't you be able to have the homebrew channel? Surely they are still using firmware v4.3 which is most definitely hackable.

Pfft just get a used normal version for cheaper and hack that shit. If they really wanted it to sell they wouldn't have stripped it so much. I wonder if you could install a copy of the nand with exploits on it kind of like how the xbox360 is hacked.

Wii U's vWii is still be hackable.

For Wii Mini and Wii U vWii nand, you can not use old original Wii's nand as replacement.
