Google protecting internet freedom? They have programs scan through all of your emails and they record every single search you do, record your IP address, where you are, and whatever else to build a profile on you and maybe all the things you like, keep it in a database for about 1 1/2 years, and sell it to advertising people and make money off you. Ignoring that, they just let about any government agency indiscriminately go through every single little piece of data they have on you and do whatever with it. They control what your searches lead to and intentionally omit things that should be there. They don't care about your privacy and control the info you find. Unless that link was them admitting that and saying they want all of that crap stopped, their idea of internet freedom is a joke not worth caring about.
