  • I'm Okay, unfortunately many are not...

I survived the storm unscathed. The only negative was that we lost power for one night. I was bored out of my mind. I can't imagine living without power for over a week like many other people are going to have to. When I lost power, the original reports was that we were going to be without power for 10 days. The following morning, I was moping around the house feeling all depressed and bored when all of a sudden the power turned back on. I yelled "Yeahhh!!!".

I feel bad for everyone else who were affected by the storm. I feel very fortunate. As always after every storm that affects my area, I will be volunteering at my Catholic church to help feed, clothe, and provide shelter for the victims.

I had a lot of memories down the shore and it sucks knowing that the places I've always gone to since childhood... is now gone.
Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Somewhere under the brick & steel of a nondescript building. We've once again made contact w/ our leader, OSG

    Sandy got us as well:

Note: This isn't my car, but rather a car owned by someone on my block.
I only bother with things that interest me.

Same here. The weather people were predicting severe complications so everyone stayed in yet it never rained for the two days they claimed it would. Then a few days afterwards it rained a few millimetres and that was it.

All the best who were hit hard by Sandy though.
