  • Terrible games that you actually like

What are some games that you like that got extremely low ratings from reviewers and/or have a reputation for being terrible?

I'll start it off by listing:
    • (NES) Jaws
      • I think this game is actually decent. It's very repetitive, but there are far worse games out there then this one.

Hard as hell. Impossible to play without cheats. Confusing story, odd voice acting.

      SNES- Secret of Evermore

This game was supposed to be an awesome game based off of Secret of Mana (My Favorite game of all time) so of course I was hyped and excited when it was released and paid a hefty $75 at that time for it and was sorely disappointed and luckily the EB store took returns if less than 7 days. So after beating it I returned it and got Chrono Trigger which is a far superior game but Secret of Evermore was actually an ok game just the beginning of the game and its story sucked. I was lucky to find the game for $5 at a pawn shop a few years later and have learned to enjoy it more so than before.

I had a similar situation like that. It was towards the end of the NES life cycle and my dad brings home "Little Nemo: The Dream Master". I didn't ask for it and wasn't expecting him to bring home a game. I figured that he must have been at a store and the game might have been on clearance sale or something like that for him to randomly buy a NES game. Well I played it, (either beat it or almost beat it) and then I told him I didn't like the game and he returned it to the store. But now, that game is one of my most favorite games.

You really should read the reviews when drunk or something, it's impossible not to laugh at how many people describe this as the most frustratingly hard game on Earth. I never even attempted in without cheats. With cheats, even then I could look and say to myself that there was no way in hell I'd ever have a chance of getting past the first few levels without wanting to murder someone. They needed to tone down the insane difficulty. Enemies on constant patrol, snipers everywhere that never miss a shot (literally) and always kill with 1 bullet (literally again), enemies don't die (they just get tired 15 seconds), almost every hit you take kills you, if 1 enemy sees you they all do and converge on your location (except some perched snipers), you often have no weapons to defend yourself, you also often need to lead dumb NPCs to safety (1 is nearly blind and can't see you after 10 feet), you move very slowly, somehow enemies KNOW your footsteps from others enemies even though they walk paths next to each other constantly, enemies you are lucky enough to knock down get up quick and chase you everywhere so it's almost always an immediate death sentence for you to be seen whether you take them down or not, lots of pitch black and enemies see you a mile away, far too many enemies have guns and never miss a single shot and take about 1 second to aim, the final boss is invisible and there is nowhere for you to hide, the list never ends. Without codes, this game is BEYOND impossible. There is no anti cheat stuff, that's about the only good thing about it.

Yeah, I noticed that. I have no clue why he deleted his entire post.

I saw the message about not being drunk. You can't because your life depends on it.
