which anime to buy first?

mermaid saga (mermaid forest, mermaid scar)
berzerk
blue seed
X series (loved the movie, hear the series is better)

Only one of those I heard of was Blue seed. So I say buy that.

For Mermaids Saga I think you are better off with the manga

As for the rest, X TV was good. It's one of the few clamp titles that I like. Haven't seen Blue Seed or Berserk yet.

Do you have any way to see a bit of the series before you decide on one?
