  • Codes Posted to Website Databases

This is based on my past experience within the last 2 years.

Do you believe if a website bans a person from a site, that site can still post the banned person codes that he/she is currently producing?

I do not agree. I was banned from a website for defending a fellow hacker/programmer whose ASM (Custom Specific) code was ported without credit. Basically stolen and proved with the step by step breakdown of the code. Yes the thief does have some knowledgeable of making codes, but ASM line for line? No! I was attack by the usual who would defend him. Hackers know their codes, and know when they are stolen. On the GCN/Wii/PS2 this is the reason for so many custom subroutines and C2 codes. As banter and insults going back and forth the topic was settled. The code thieves deleted all the posts and modified their posts to where the mysterious background work was slapped and paste with a backup code. Also the thief declared if a code is ported the original author does not receive credit because it's a different region. Proper credit was still not given. After being disrespected, I declared that I no longer will give permission to the site post nor host my codes. I was once again disrespected

I have yet to see you hack anything worthy of note for Wii GMO. Go crawl back to that dumpster that you call home now.
I am sorry.. do I not have the 2nd most codes made on the Wii? If I didn't hack anything worthy why are my codes up the same day I post them? Why does this person feel the urge to make a post in their forums posting my codes?

Did you know a simple apology could make this all go away?

    Been banned since 07/30/11 http://i44.tinypic.com/fqn1t.jpg
Still posting my codes on their DB? Everyday since.

I know which website you're speaking of, and I know who you're referring to, but I won't point any fingers or mention any names. I've came across that thread, and it was appalling to read.
I only bother with things that interest me.

If the code creator does not allow his codes to be posted on a certain then that site should have no rights posting it on their forums and DB, you don't see us scourge other sites for codes to be added to our site do you!? I feel and it should be the creator should post it on the site they want their codes to be viewed by and not thrown around and stolen just to add to their list.

Yeah, they shouldn't continue to use your codes, especially after you requested they remove them.

I knew that guy could be an ass, but what shocked me was how readily he switched between being a complete heel to you, to being almost a sycophant to the guy posting the codes. I'm not talking so much about the defense he provided, just how after every code post he had to reply, "awesome work, stud, I'll get these into the database before I go cheat on you with my girlfriend". It would have been the first time I ever put the owner of a forum on ignore to filter out spam.
