Latest PS3 Firmware Update Freezing PS3's

Recent posts on a few forums suggest the latest PlayStation 3 firmware 4.0 update is causing PS3's to freeze. Reports are still coming in, but those who are reporting this issue are playing Modern Warfare 3 or Skyrim.

Seems the freeze happens during game play as well as normal PS3 usage. This is not the first time a new firmware update has caused issues.

Skyrim already freezes itself. Damn, now I'm twice as screwed.

I'm going to wait to buy Skyrim until all of the bugs are fixed, just like I did with The Witcher 2.
