mamecheat registration email problem

    mamecheat registration email problem

    I tried to register to Pugsy's site, mamecheat.co, and it says that my email address is not allowed. My email address is an America Online (AOL) email address. Why is this a problem? How can I register? I sent Pugsy a Private Message on this forum but I don't know how often he checks his inbox.
    Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Somewhere under the brick & steel of a nondescript building. We've once again made contact w/ our leader, OSG

    why not use different e-mail addresses like Gmail or Yahoo Mail?

      why would it accept gmail or yahoo and not AOL?

        Not sure. Maybe there's a restriction on AOL e-mail addresses.

          Problem has been solved. He temporarily lifted the ban for 24 hours on AOL email accounts. I am now successfully registered.

            Demonic, are you having a problem registering? Be sure that your password contains numbers AND letters AND you MUST have atleast one of the letters capitilized.

              Yup, I had everything except for the approval of an AOL e-mail address. :P

                I've removed the aim.com domain banning now too.

                I've conceivably been a bit over the top with spambot countermeasures in the past, and still get between 30-100 new registrations per day and they are all normally spambots - though as the first post now needs approving nobody gets to see all the spam but lucky old me.
