How Have You Been Playing Skyrim?

Considering that, as of the publish time of this article, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is outselling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Steam, chances are you might be playing Skyrim right now.

Maybe you've been beating up dragons, maybe you've been setting draugr on fire, or maybe you've been hunched over an anvil making armor, and maybe you'd like to share how you've been playing and how you've built your character.

I've learned to make multiple saves because the game has a bug where starting a new game erases what is in slot 1, when they should have warned you that the game uses that as an autosave. Other than that, I started off, ran into some mine, sneaked around and this bandit guy kept running around the corner, walking right up to me, pulling out his sword, and then walking past me, saying "it must have been nothing," returned to where he was, and then immediately repeated that. I let it sit and got sneak almost up to level 50 before he stopped noticing me. I left the mines and didn't notice the 3 stones that I could choose for being a warrior, magician, or thief. I found a mammoth that ignored me and followed it until my sneak was at level 70 so I could get that silent skill where nobody notices me running or walking. Since then, doing random tiny missions, found another good sneaking place with 3 bandits, and used a friend's hair scrunchy to tie the joysticks together and my sneak skill is now being increased again. I'm running through a puddle less than 2 feet from 3 guys and they haven't noticed it for about 20 minutes now. Once sneak is maxed, I'll continue on with the game.

I picked it up for PS3 on release day, but haven't had much time to play it. Hopefully I get around to it soon. It seems pretty cool thus far.
