  • Well, it is true....

Not my typing, but something someone said on a media site and such, and well, what they said, is pretty much a 'rant' yet is very true, sad but true. Specialy the wal mart mess, like any of us can help shopping there really, but wal mart is fucking killing us bad.

    RANTING AND RAVING
Are you tired of living with Herpes? Is your Tampon stuck 23 degrees to the right side of your left ovary? Do you need to refinance your home with Ditech.com? Damn - I am so sick of these stupid commercials!

Why must we be subjected to such crap?! Man, if I hear that "It's a brand new Day" song from that herpes commercial one more time I am really just going to snap. What kind of musician in their right mind would sing a song about having herpes. It's like - WTF? One night you get drunk and have sex with some random person coming to find out very soon afterwards that you have acquired herpes from him or her, then you deal with it, move on, and one day are minding your own fuckin business when you see a stupid commercial and hear "It's a brand new Day" - Do you think "Oh wow, it is a brand new day ...if I get Valtrex", or "If I buy Valtrex, I can start fucking again and without the worry of spreading my herpes to some unsuspecting jeggoff"?

Don't even get me started on Wal Mart's "every day low prices", with the damn smiley bouncing all around like he's hopped up on crank. Yeah they sell for less in most cases but at what cost? I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said it all - "Support China, Buy from Wal Mart". Their benefits suck and they treat most of their employees like shit. Did you know that if they raised the price on their items by one single penny, they could pay their employees $1.00 more an hour! I hate being in a position to buy anything from them but am in this position more often than not.

Have you seen that commercial about some drug called "Rellacore"? They claim to make you lose weight if you are really overweight. They claim that it's so powerful, you shouldn't use it to shed a few vanity pounds. Well, if you ask me, I think they are pulling the reverse psychology trick on our asses. Think about it, the keyphrase is "It's too powerful", therefore making us think that it will actually work.

You know which commercial that really makes me twinge? It's those damn Old Navy comercials - they are just way out there man. Am I alone on this?

Well, I better stop now, I could go on and on. You don't wanna hear me bitch, you want to see the latest media! Well, here it is, for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy! Catcha Wednesday!

        Well, it is true....

heh RPGod, well, as far as Wal-Mart, I mean heck like we can help it, hell I shop at Wal-Mart ALOT, I go to Wal-Mart about like I go to the super market (and no I do not buy groceries at Wal-Mart, though I could, and hell, maybe should infact also)

I 'once' was going to work at Wal-Mart myself, but I 'heard'...well you know a little bird told me type of thing, that the 'Manager' of the Wal-Mart in my area was/is an asshole, so I decided to go elsewhere. I mean I am no lazy or anything, but the ways I heard tell of this manager guy, well I do not like people breathing down my neck every second of every time I am there working and mess. (after all, hell I know already from all my other jobs, it is natural to 'relax' when you can and no one is watching, hell do that most of the time when people are watching anyway in my previous ocne were super market jobs and such hehe.)

Plus Wal-Mart may not like me these days anyway, I mean well got a job had a job, a career more or less now for a good many years all my super market and 'retail store' work was way back when, I dance at a club now, but in anycase not sure even now Wal-Mart would want me, I'd graze the iles if I could hehe

And in the term Graze I mean, well have you all seen that movie called Career Opportunities? If not, go watch that mess, that is great and funny, kinda 'old' now, but still a classic more or less. That guy is the Target Nighttime clean up boy, and eats candy off the shelves, FUNNY, well hell I did that at the super market I worked at way back when also, so as said Wal-Mart may not take to me too kindly.

But as said, not me fussing about Wal-Mart, as is, and as said, heck I show there alot also, we ALL do these days, they are everywhere ten feet away from us, and if you miss that one ten feet away, not to worry there is another one 20 feet away. I swear if I counted the Wal-Marts here, you'd say damn that's alot of stores. (I mean well gosh they ARE everywwhere now. To get a picture, they got Wal-Mart's here in my state in towns that ate not as big population wise as a high school, a town with 340 people HAS a Wal-Mart, not that is just whacky) 340 people now in the whole town, not my town, but one close by, those 340 peopel are ALL people, little babies, older people, all in all, about 20 people of 'working age' and they all work at the Wal-Mart, so that shows you. :P

Otherwise, I really think Wal-Mart is good, well not like it matetrs anyway Wal-Mart is 'there' and the big thing now, so we have to have what we have, I guess. I shop there alot again so not really bad to me.

The ONE strange thing is, that movie I was talking about Career Opportunities, I got it at Wal-Mart for $4.55 (on DVD even, wide screen to) It costs $10.00 online, and $12.99 at bestBuy and other 'more eletronics type stores', BestBuy, Circut City and such.) But the messed up thing, the movie 'advertises' the retail store 'Target' (which is also around my area, but only 4, and Wal-Mart out numbers them 10 to 1. So soemthing is fishy there hehe Makes me wonder why Wal-Mart does not have that one movie about 'their' store "Where The Heart is" where a woman 'LIVES' in Wal-Mart and has a baby in the store. Not a funny story, kinda a drama, and was true also, but I wonder if even wal-mart would even promote that really? umm well....

          Well, it is true....

Walmart is getting weird... There's already two of them in this area, and they're opening two more, one all of 5 blocks from an existing one. Even if they close one of them down, there's still going to be 3 super-walmarts...

I know, it is like that here really 'bad' too, as I said a Wal-Mart store in a town of ONLY 320 people, and most of thsoe people old retired, cannot even go to Wal-Mart, or are babies (a new baby boom after some soilders came home) and all in all the whole 'small town' has about 20 to maybe 30 people who can work and are working age and they are all at Wal-Mart when there are more friendly places just ten miles in the next town anyway. (AND in the next town, is yes Another Wal-Mart.)

Here in N.C. Wal-Mart is now blamed for killing off a super market chain. Winn Dixie (not sure if they have that where any of you all are, but now it is not here anymore, because as Win Dixie said it on the news "Wal-Mart Killed us"

Ahh well, just as is, Wal-Mart is a monopoly now, not sure if you all 'remember' but a store named Roses used to eb the 'main' place, then K-Mart took them over, now Wal-Mart is taking over, not only 'descount stores, but super markets as well... well, as is and shall be til someday somehting 'new' takes over Wal-Mart.

K-mart died, but not because of walmart. kmart got killed by supervalu. Of course I'm sure walmart had something to do with it. There's been a lot of smaller chains, or just stores that have been getting knocked off by the huge companies. The problem with companies getting that large, is they start to spread into other fields. An example of that, is this:
