  • GameHacking has Moved to a New Server!

As may have been noticed by the widespread malfunctions of the site today, something happened.

We've moved to a new server and things may be a little odd for hours or longer due to some DNS changes and other details.

Currently known for sure broken is the BSFree2 database here.

Of course, anybody reading this must not have their access to the site completely broken.

Yep. To be clear, our hosting hasn't changed. We've just upgraded to an even larger, more robust solution.

Hmm...I can go to GameHacking.org, and follow links, and they all go to GameHacking.org. Can you give a specific example?

Ah, you're absolutely right. The forums must have hard-coded links. We should definitely fix that.

In this way I suggest all Web addresses in the site (both database and forum) to be changed from "gshi.org" to "gamehacking.org" at once with one more stopping of the servers. After that is done once, GameHacking.org never stops working more and it's always online.

                    ftp seems broken too.

I have been uploading my 3DS Zelda saves so that our small group tries to decrypt and hack saves inclusive of check sum. Now many of the files seem to be missing or being reflected as cached.

Hm, this is odd. I've been trying to connect to gamehacking.org since yesterday, but with no luck. Today when I was looking up some hacking info I found a link from Google to "www.thegshi.org," which is how I'm posting this message... Another mirror, I suppose?

We have quite a few domains. All of them point to the same data, but use their domains autonomously (for the most part).

There's an ugly issue with gshi.org and gamehacking.org right now, which we're working on with our hosting company. Hopefully it will be resolved swiftly.

I resolved the issue by noting the address being recognized as http://0xffff.org this works for Web and ftp sign in.

All domains should function properly now.

Apologies; we had an issue with our name servers, which has been resolved.
