  • Improvised Codes to be publish in gshi.org site

    Hi,

In the gshi.org, if you have found codes n stuff, u can put it on site right?
But what about if the existed codes, I improvised and somehow make it better..
Is it possible to publish there too? I mean like there's already codes out there but I manage to Improvise it.

How's it? Possible? Reason I asked so due to the RE: Survivor codes..

Honestly, I managed to make a code for a gun to have the Infinite symbol and able to fire limitless without need the ammo.

I tried by loading the Save file and it worked! I mean without the Gameshark on, the Save files managed to recognize the Inf Symbol.

So I'm asking, if I improvise the codes when no other bothers, can i post it on there? gshi.org
and most importantly how to properly credit the original authors of the existed codes?
    Can give example? thanks..

It would probably depend on the improvement. If for some reason it was something like taking the 999 Demon Fangs code for Okami and changing it to 9999, it wouldn't be something to post. If it were something like a modified value that helps, like changing Skiller's Kingdom Hearts RE code for max damage to a lower value because the high value caused many game problems, that would be something to post.

    It depends on the code.

The main thing to keep in mind is to mention how you came up with the code. Always give credit where it is due. Like Bungholio said, changing the value of a code doesn't really make it a new code. However, if there's a code that's glitchy & you manage to find one that not glitchy or one that is an improvement in some way over another code, then post it. Sometimes there may be a totally different code that does the same thing as another. This generally will be listed as an Alternate Code.
Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

Hmm.. now that you two mentioned it, I'm wondering if I really should post it though. In RE3 n RE Survivor, I managed to change the ammo value in every guns into infinite value and it works even without the codes on. And for this, I don't find it elsewhere as those codes only list all the guns. But if changing the value to infinite and it work without glitch, I'm thinking, is it worth it?
Honestly, I learnt about this matter when I tried to modify and experiments with the codes of RE3. LOL
