I've heard of people soaking the yellowed cases in tubs of some mixture of oxi-clean and other chemicals, and it worked beautifully to make the snes look new again. Luckily, I came across a non-yellowed one a while back at the local game shop, so I don't know from experience.

My original SNES never yellowed but then I got rid of it a long time ago and bought a used one from some pawn shop and it was as yellow as Liquids, not sure user care is to blame as well as other factors maybe a smoker might make it yellowish to or the atmosphere/environment of where ever people live.Spoiler Alert! My SNES has slightly yellowed. Not to the extent as in that picture but just alittle bit. And I don't think it yellowed because of the previous user was a smoker because there's no smoking allowed in my house and I keep all my games and game consoles (and everything I own for that matter) in mint condition and mine still yellowed very slightly. All my game consoles are from when I purchased them new, many years ago when they first came out. It must be from what the SNES' outershell is made from and/or from the decades of dust accumalation etc.Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker.
