    The site is going to move again?

    This morning, watever put this in the topic for #watnet:
    =-= Topic for #watnet is ?anyone with an account on the greenbay box backup your info that box will be gone in about 30 days or so if you need an accoutn i have 1 dedicated box in texas but they will cost to have accounts i am almost completely broke now supporting all the free stuff so thats done as of now sorry?

    So, the site is going to move again... I'll post the new location when I've got it.

    Oh, and if anybody can help it, don't upload anything to the server... As far as updating the site, well, keep in mind that it's possible anything done after just a few minutes ago will be lost. But it's unlikely.

    Dang, not again. I hope we can find a good place. So, will we still be able to reach the site with the http://www.thegshi.org or whatever we are using now? That way noone will be lost again. Cause some may have that addy bookmarked and not visit regularily enough to of known about a move. I kinda hate to not update but hopefully we can get the stuff transfered fast enough so I can get back to that.

      Yeah, it'll still be accessed from thegshi.org. The server everything's moving to is a whole hell of a lot faster than this one. After it's moved, I ought to get Lazy to send out another one of those emails to everybody.

        Sure thing; just lemme know. I wish I could help watever out a little...that's one of the first things I need to do when I get some spare cash...quite a bit of which should be arriving rather soon now, I think...and hope, heh.

            Nope... [drunk mode enabled] Hehe, sorry, but there's no news, other than that I've sucessfully backed up the site without any trouble, all 1.3~ GB of it... Damn playstation games, take up a shitload of space... But hey, that's nothing... The actual site takes up some 5 or so MB space... Not exatly sure considering most of the data is actualy database information.

              Suggestion? Let us resume updating the site and let us know when you are gonna move and we can stop. Cause I'm dying to get back to that. Cranking out codes ain't the same knowing they are gonna be sitting on a message board rather than on the site.

                Yeah, do it. Backing up the database takes about a whole minute, and not much more.

                  Okay, not 100% sure, but the site probably isn't actually going to need moving. It would seem the server is being kept now.

                        Okay, heads up everybody... The site is in fact moving whenever one small thing gets fixed. So, within a couple of days... Oh, and it's not exactly possible to upload things through ftp to here anymore... I had to fix that.

                        It will be obvious when the site has actually moved... For one thing, the phpbb will be closed AND damaged beyond all repair...

                          And now, due to windows sucking quite a lot, the 900+ MB backup of gshi that used to exist, no longer does... The only really signifigant loss that I've noticed so far, is the complete and total destruction of the gshib0 source file. At least modern flash ripping technology has improved enough that's not too big of an issue...

                            Do you have a backup of the BB, or shall I make one once I've repaired the MBR on my laptop (using a work PC right now)? Heh @ multibooting several Linux OS's, FreeDos, and WinXP on NTFS, when starting with XP already installed...I should've known Fedora would tamper with GRUB's boot config...

                              The bb will take all of a couple minutes to backup, and has been backed up earlier today... I think the site's getting moved tonight...
