Well, it works, err heh sorry, that whole 'does my Winx work' stuff is well, from that 'cartoon' Just a play on words sorta.

Yep a 'cartoon' not sure if it is or should be called 'anime' really, as is, seems more in tune towards 'younger girls' But well heck, I like it alot. (yeah I am old, but heck, cartoons, err or rather anime I guess we can call it all, I still love, specialy this one, this one, The Winx Club, a younger girl's 'Barbie Magical tour' type cartoon but well... it is good. I think so anyway.

I see it as a 'today' version of Sailor Moon more or less, and well I was old then too when Sailor Moon hit the states, but hehe still liked that alot for awhile anyway til it all died down. :P Well, to some, it is not died down, anime will always be there, just not as 'new' as it was in 1995 I shall say...gosh Sailor Moon has been here for ten years, gahhh really feeling old now. :shock:

Anyway last thing on the Sailor Moon thing, sorta odd, but not 'really' in Japan so I hear and heard for a long time, at how all the business men (and women all loved Sailor Moon, and were buying dolls and all types of Sailor Moon mess) So though Winx Club is more towards younger girls here in US, as Sailor Moon was, heck...some of us older girls still like it as well. :P

On this 'new' Winx Club, only one season done so far til Fall, I guess and hope. Shame no DVD set yet darn it ehh.... but maybe more of a young girls thing, but as I said, I do not mind, I like it anyway, even when I see on the websites and such message boards where "Moms" talk how good the dolls and toys are for their little girls, when those "Moms" are same age as I am.... :shock:

ehh well, the BIG image is rather big, but worth it, I think, after all, heh heck, it is like any and all those Fox and WB 'cartoons' on Saturdays and such, each has it's own "Kid's Site" where you go play games, get points and all else and 'buy' images you can download. Not 'real' buy, but you knwo soem 'kid' interaction mess, where you score points on games based on those cartoons, and use the points to 'buy' images you can downlaod. That BIG image I posted cost some 2000 points, so it should be big. (2000 is ALOT on those games)

Well, anyway was a play on words really, not sure you'd nor anyone really would understand what 'Does my Winx work?' unless you watched the show once or twice. (ummm then again sense it is a 'magical' story, with fairies, and witches and such, you may need to watch it more then twice to understand it really. But heck, Cartoon Network carries it now, 7 am and 5 pm, so that is good. (all reruns til new season) but reruns are not bad at all----after all this is The Winx Club, yeah maybe some think is 'childish' but well, I like it, and I am knocking on the 30 year old door soon. (Alot of times, I feel as if I am aging 'backwards' really.... sorta missing those good days of childhood ehh well, the good days when the NES was the big one. :wink: )

Okay, Okay, well not old, but not 'young' anymore really either. :P I mean after all, I was looking on a website for Toys R' Us to buy some of those Winx Club Dolls (for myself, yes I still buy 'toys' :P ) And I saw a review of the dolls by a 'mom' who buys them for her daughter, and the mom was just one year if even that older then I am. And here I am looking for toys, that someone my age basicaly is all buying for their kids.

So makes me a little odd, but in anycase, I still love that cartoon, just have to share it with 'children' that I could be the right age to be their mom as well. :P :wink:

Me, I like cartoons, and would watch them a lot if it weren't for the problem of not being able to do so... hehe cool and neat Drunk mode yet again hehe and a 'haha' mode as well. :P But I agree somewhat with you both, err if I get what you are saying, well let's see.

As for Lazy in the toy store, heck I go in toys stores all the time, most times, maybe it is different you being a guy and me being a gal, but I most times, alot of times really, get other grown women 9with children or without children, random it seems at times) and they are nice, seem like nice 'moms' and start talking, mostly like a "so your kid loves The Winx Club also?" (I mean like if we are there looking at the same dolls as I do now look more at Winx mess, as said I love that.) Mostly I just smile and nod, after all, remember I am mute and cannot speak, most times they smile and we go about our business, some start talking more, and not to be rude, I have to explain to them I cannot talk as they do. Note pad and pen, always need it everywhere.) Kinda embarasment at times, but because I cannot talk, not because I am buying toys, as is most think I am doing for my 'not got any' children anyway.

As for a man in a toy store, well, I always would look at it as a good thing, I mena heck even my own father would take me to the toy store when I was little and pre store and teenage years (err sometimes even grown-up years) he knows I loves and collect cartoon dolls) and I'd not look at him as anything bad, Just keep that in mind, many look at you as they do me, they thing we ourselfs are 'parents'. Just takes a few 'do not talk to strangers kids' perverts to wreck society eh?

Otherwise, on the age of having kids thing, well, I am not against any age really, unless it is really young, like 13 to 16 and even 17 and 18 gosh too young, but I am not against most other ages myself, "IF" you can care for children, why not enjoy them? I was born when my mom was 25. We almost fit together in a strange way, she was 50 when I was 25 myself, we were born on same day, sorta maybe means something other then looking alike exactly, just more years on her then me. But as is, when my mom was 25, her and my dad were married, and had a home, and money to care for me and my sisters and such to come later and even before a few years.

So really I see no harm at all in having kids at a young age, just as long as not 'teenage' young age, and you can care right for the child. Besides also, the younger you have your children, the more time you get to spend with them in life, which is nice, I think really.... as is, hitting on 30 now, and that is kinda my own fear now really, I mean kids now, or later, just soemthing to think about, because we are always getting older and each day that goes by is in all reality a day less we have to live really. Plus otherwise, you never know when God calls your own number up. I mean I really worry about people out there having kids in their 60's and such, if they even can... I mean, well you know maybe not so great for the kid, the kid wants parents around forever, as we all do, yet having a kid at 60 and then you check out at 62, not too pleasing for the kid really, and otherwise, I'd hope if someone does have a kid at 60, they are millionars and that kid can get some sense where she or he will not be all ran over their whole life people taking there money and they end up with nothing---see that alot sometimes about families and such.

I have occasionally browsed the toy section at my local Wal-mart knock off (Alco). I don't know why, I don't really intend to buy anything but I just like to look. Especially cause they have Ninja Turtle toys out again. I did buy a Solid Snake "Doll" a few years ago. I say doll cause the toy was a import and it said doll on the package. Anyway, I have no shame about that. It had no age limit on the package so it's good for anyone. I just set it up somewhere to look at it sometimes.

No worries LMZ, as said, I rather liked and even respect 'drunk mode' as sorry, I just love that term now. As is on that anyway, I never been drunk, never drank anything, but am and have been aware of what most do not know what 'drunk mode' really is (a normal corse in nursing school, nothing all too big) And 'society' and people claim being drunks makes people forgive me, but society says makes people stupid, when it does not at all. Drunk Mode makes you a little slow, dependible on how much you had, slow as in nerve reactions and thought and such, but does not make anyone less smart. (Everyone is all hooked up and over that beer and mess kills brain cells, and yes it does, yet no one at all talks about how cells in the body all over are always repaired, dead ones 'carried off' and new ones always 'born', yes even in your brain. They are all on about ahh it kills brain cells and makes you stupid, when the brain cells it does in fact kill, or the weak ones anyway, in fact, at times beer and alcohol is used by doctors to give to people with brain damage and all else to help them make NEW cells and all else.)

Also alcohol is gave to make you 'slow' again not slow in a abd way really, well unless you stay that way forever, then may not be so great, but back in the 'old days' when the doctors gave you beer and all else so they could pull your hurting teeth, or cut you open and you be slow, so you not feel nor start reacting to it to after they are all done with what they are doing. I mean those ways of life, not at all great back then in the 1800's and earlier, but was life.... getting drunk so they could put rusted rail road spikes in your mouth and somehow knock out thse wisdom teeth that are killing you. If not or beer and getting frunk, geez I'd think and say that would be pur damn torture. (abit off topic here, but I had wisdom teeth removed recently this year back in March, and gosh, even hooked up on gas... that mess was PAINFUL, if no gas at all, geez that would be worst, I'd dare say then having a chain saw cut your legs off. Just thinking teeth pain is indeed the greatest, physical pain, even saw a discovery channel thing that said that awhile back, and I agree.

Anyway back on drunk mode, yes drunk mode makes you abit slow, but otherwise, is not as all that bad as society claims it is (well unless you go off driving and such, which is not good being slow reactions, you take a left hand turn, two miles after you saw where the turn was...err so. :P

Otherwise, drunk mode, also makes people drop the act, I mean as far as dropping their ego more or less, when you meet someone drunk, they are always their true self. I mean well as the saying goes, when you meet someone anyone, you are not really meeting them right off, you are meeting their 'representative'. The think when you get drunk, you are always yourself, because well being drunk makes us all drop the 'act' not saying the act is a bad thing, hell all people ever have had an act, we all do and shall forever, but being drunk makes you drop it and be always your true self. Sometimes good, sometimes 'bad' as is sometimes you always hear about drunk people stealing mess, as is, because they dropped their act and well are not afraid of the police and to be their true self. So sometimes good, sometimes bad, but shows you yourself always, so no worries, is good, as long as said you do not kill or steal heh.

Otherwise on with other issues. As for browsing for toys, well heck we all know I do it, I love it, I am now and for a year always been looking that Winx Club stuff. As for that thing Hiro, about 'action figures for boys, and they MUST be called dolls for girls...again blahhh society is so messed up. I mean society tries to get it right but always falls apart in small places all the time. I know we have all seen and heard the mess, you can only call a boy 'doll' an action figure. (sorry but well we all heard it before) I myself, wish and would hope and think, heck it is toys and collectibles, and yes collectibles are toys too, nothing snaps when you grow older, you are not just sitting there, then smack something clicks in your head and you get rid of all your toys and such, and shame on society for even trying to force that on all people.

I mean well I have no idea what life is really like to be a male, yeah learned all about phsycology in school and all, but still, men and women are different, but as a woman, society allows it more 'okay' to buy and own toys and such for yourself, but all of us do also love toys and such, male or female.

All a pchy thing, but again is rather natural, just society has a time all the time 'messing' with nature itself. As is, heck some people, ALOT of people never grow out of that 'sucking' stage in life, no not saying they 'suck' saying they like to suck, you know when we were children we sucked on a bottle or otherwise to eat, well, fact is facts ALOT of people grow up never getting fully grown out of that, who are they? we see them all the time on the streets and in the malls, all those people females and males with a cigerette stuck in their face, or has a lollipop sucking on it. I mean yes I love candy too, and lollipops are great, but I mean those that have a lollipop and cig 24/7 almost. And please do not say anything to them, if you know of someone like that, it tends to get them upset, the truth always does, but it rather nature, somewhere for all of us, we never truely grow out and up right.

In other words, your friend is out there with a lollipop 24/7 err let's nto go up to them and say well you never got your mom's tit out of your mouth, may upset them abit, as I would expect it would. Just the strange ways of nature vs society..... society allows some things, yet is upset by others, when all of it is indeed nature, all the lollipop suckers and cig suckers are accepted always most times, yet be a girl who buys toys too much and male toys at that, society says 'lesbian' or other messed up terms. be a boy and buy Barbie dolls, and society also says messed up things, but really it ALL is human nature of us all female or male, short in short 'really' again society does TRY, but so many times it still is a working process, that will never be perfected, not in our lives anyway it seems.

From some of the stuff I've been reading recently, I'm starting to think that at least this country's society has some serious issues relating to things not completely grounded in reality. I've personally noticed that a lot of people have no decent concept of what's real and what's not. Of course, there's also that society considers drunkeness and the like to be very very bad things. But that's probably society's fault in the first place...
