Hi,
Does anyone who has played Road Rash II know what bikes are recommended in terms of speed and handling, on a level by level basis a la how user apathy000's Road Rash III FAQ (see sections "Recommended Bikes for Each Level" and "How Far You Can Take a Bike") explains thus?
The RRIII faq:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/935348-ea-replay/faqs/55117
(What I want to know is what bikes I should use for each level in RRII, though.)
Recently, before I went to Level 2, I bought a Panda 900 in which its top speed is 145 MPH. The Panda 600 has a top speed of 125 MPH, only 5 MPH higher than that of your starting bike, the Shuriken 400.
In other words, the Panda 900 should be the replacement bike to trade your Shuriken 400 in for, priced at $15,000. You do not get all this money so easily, so what I do in Level 1 is the "5-4-3-2-1" plan, where you repeat course 1 (Alaska) five times, do course 2 (Hawaii) four times, do course 3 (Tennessee) the same number of times as the level itself, course 4 (Arizona) is done twice, and the final course (Vermont) can only be completed once (that is, if you qualify by winning in at least the 3rd place, the amount shown is for 1st place wins).
THE 5-4-3-2-1 PLAN
Complete the Alaska course five times, the Hawaii course four, the Tennessee course three times, Arizona is done twice, and Vermont, complete as normal.
For level 1, added to the $1,000 I start with before the races, which is $5,000 + 4,000 + 3,000 + 2,000 + 1,000 ($15,000) = $16,000 w/o paying fines for being busted or having wrecked my bike in a course, and before I trade in for a newer, faster bike. In level 2, this total amount becomes $30,000. At level 3 it becomes $45,000, level 4 $60,000 and level 5 $75,000.
