man i didn't post for a while so i decide to post something up.


about darke i think is wise to keep some of us in in contact by email or some kind of instant chat client.so if the site decide to move again it easier for you to find it.

I think it's my fault that he didn't find the new location sooner. I forgot to check one of my email accounts for about 3 months, and therefore didn't get around to replying to his email until shortly before he posted here.

I have all 3 messengers, but be warned... I don't like to talk much. I'm usually doing other random stuff. I LOVE to screw with the system files on my computer, so I crash it a lot, and sign on and off because of this... anyways, contact info.

Use the alternate server "bluegrass.ky.us.watnet.org". it's on the list on the javachat (which we hope to be replacing with cgi::irc, which allows multichannel) or just type that server in on mirc or your other client

ummm...chatting? Well, the whole concept sounds err----interesting, yet, really it is not all that, really... when we all (plus whomever else may show up) is hardly there at the same time as anyone else... it proves that chat just may be fun , if anyone was there hardly. But sense we all have odd hours of going there, trying to go there, wanting to go there, or finding ourselfs there (by accident?) ...it just is not all it is beinbg 'advertised' as, I must say.

Plus with a few 'rude' people in several places on the chat client, it really makes such things as Yahoo just that much more entertaining and popular (as it always has been---a billion users can't be wrong?)

YOU are NOT personally banned! the bluegrass server was probably down when you tried to connect. whenever you make it on next time, i suggest you do a /whois on yourself and email a copy of that to tim, so he can make an exception for you. that way, you can use ANY server to get on watnet. i know this is a damned inconvenience, but it needs to be done because nothing else stops these damn trojans.

also, you can try going to http://livechat.watnet.org, which is essentially the same, but you can TYPE in the server you'd like to use, because frankfurt.de.eu.watnet.org also requires no ident.

OR you could just go download mirc and save yourself the hassle of trying to pick the server from a javachat that doesn't support much anyway. it's not like setting up mirc is really anymore difficult. you just put in the same info, then type /server serverdns
