Adding PSX codes to the new PHP system, I came across your Modify Barret's First Sentence code. Dude...I think that was my first GameShark request, before I even had a GSPro. That brings back some memories...

And you mentioned your "handy hacking calculator"...which reminded me of the time before I had my own PC, or abundant time to use one, some of my most valued possessions were my Texas Instruments scientific calc, a couple of never-ending Skilcraft pens, and about five or six hacking notebooks full of damn near everything...I half-mapped the memory for FF7, MGS, and Syphon Filter, heh. I wish I could find the rest of those damn notebooks. But even reading through the ones I found was pretty interesting; it's good to be back. You still have any of yours?

Text modifying on PSX was pretty awesome. I changed a few enemies names on SOTN. If I still had a working PSX I'd post them. Changing those names are almost like a form of rom hacking.

Yeah, I still have my notebooks. I don't understand 90% of the stuff in them. heh. A lot of the addresses don't have notes on what they do, and the notes that do exist are usually written in extreme shorthand.

Ooh, off-subject, but Thursday I get my derringer...a 7-round, .22 KelTech about the size of a...well, a GSPro, heh. Nice.
