Very Bill Gatish. buy out other forums and combine them with our own. Actually, that could be good for them if they are small enough. Cause there's only so many hackers to go around and they can only support so many forums. Pool sources and instead of having many little code hacking sites have just a few, This site, gscentral, and cmgsccc.

Actually, from looking at hacking 101's website I think it would be good if he joined forces with our site. I see he is a good hacker but it's an uphill battle to keep a website going with only 2 or so hackers. Perhaps you can offer him a position as a code updator or something as a carrot to get him to join the site.

Heh, I'm kidding. dlevere's pretty cool, and I don't think I want to envelope his entire site, unless he'd actually like to become a part of GSHI. And I feel odd even asking that (imagine GSCentral asking GSHI to become a part of it)...bleh.

However, merging boards is good, though we'll probably have to just both link to the same board from our respective sites, and rename the board to reflect that it's not purely GSHI...who knows...ideas for a lazy, so, so fucking sleep-deprived to the point of half-drunkeness, mind?

Yeah, I think it would look better for his site cause if I had a site it would be discouraging to me to have a dead board. We'll probably have to have links to more than one site at the top of the screen tho.

Hmm...dlevere, you up for a board merge? Give Liquid an e-mail or PM if you like, and toss the details around. I still haven't talked things through with Codemastersproject staff, but I would imagine they're next in line to jump on the boat with all of us. In any case, perhaps we should have one of our forums be Hacking 101, run by mine truly of course (that would be you, heh) as a school of hacking (damn do those three words bring back memories...I really wish School of Hacking would've stayed alive lone enough to merge with GSHI's forums...that would've owned...) of some sort. It's your call, though.

If dlevere gives the go, would you mind doing the "honors", Liquid?

Not to state the obvious, but I figure if two forums are generally the same, we should just port the topics over, and any new forums should just jump over entirely.

Then (thanks to hiro for reminding us) we should throw a link (maybe a banner?) up to Hacking 101.

Unless you'd like to jump aboard entirely, in which case we'll create a section of the main site entitled Hacking 101, which you, your staff, and anyone else you like can run and give hacking tips, guides, and the like (and we might as well make Hacking FAQs a subcategory of that, and take the non-hacking stuff out and throw it in a new subsection called...Random Crap, or something, heh)...

Let me know, man. In case you're wondering, Hacking 101 could still remain entirely autonomous, even as a part of GSHI...

I've slept on it. I've decided against it. I'm too used to doing things my own way, and I'm too set in my ways to change.

Hacking 101 has been in existence since May 30, 2001, and we're just going through a rough time right now. Hopefully things will get better in the near future.

Sleep on it again. As I stated before there are only so many hackers to go around. I relize that your site has been around for a while but I think if it was gonna grow it probably should have by now. It aint the easiest thing to compete with other sites such as gscentral and cmgsccc but if we get enough things going I'm sure we can make a dent. I know lazy gots a few things brewing, they are redoing the site and if you join up perhaps they can make it look a little more hacking 101 like. maybe use your look and make it blue instead to show its a gshi/hacking 101 hybrid. or keep the old look and make it red like yours. Plus If you are given abilities as I have you can add any materials you want at will.
