You will play BOF3 in years. Will take less time using windows.

I think pSX is probably the best PSX emulator at the moment, and it requires no plugins which is a big-plus for me. Not so good for cheating/cheat finding though, for that I'm still waiting on MESS...

Actually the best emu should be XEBRA, can run every game released for the psx flawless and without plugins. Tested it with more than 100 of my collection, most of those with problems in other emulators, and found not even one problem. Even those that can't boot in other emulators.
Then compared psx with the last version of epsxe and the last one has bypassed psx by far, but it has some complications when it comes to audio tracks, you have to use daemon 3.47 with analog audio on and use the epsxe cdrom plugin, otherwise more than half of the games with audio tracks will have problems.
But it now runs pretty good games that in othe versions were impossible to run and those games aren't mostly playable by other emulators yet. I found with some games boot problems that were fixed using interpreter insteed of dynarec.
At least those were my tests with the games in my collection that fails in the other emulators, even in psx and pcsx.
But still, the only one that by now has run every game I tried is XEBRA, by Dr.Hell. But is a real pain to make it to run something the first time you try it. And you have to configure it first, cuz the configuration is premade for low systems. And since it supports fullscreen, it has become for me in my opinion the best emulator for psx.
