W00t, passed the CCNA (640-802). So that gives me CCNA, Network+, and A+. Now on to Security+, Server+, Linux+, and I suppose a Microsoft cert of some kind or another.

heh. i need some updated material. the stuff i got predates SATA and doesnt even know what a PCI-e is. X_X. Oh well, i can always ask my stepmother who works for the company that distributes the material

A geographic information system (GIS), also known as a geographical information system or geospatial information system, is any system for capturing, storing, analyzing and managing data and associated attributes which are spatially referenced to Earth.

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIS

There is a set of courses at the local community college that will allow me to achive this. Also the place that i work is looking for some one with GIS and a technological certification to hire as a full time employee. 8D

Ah, cool. Yeah, it's nice to have your foot in the door, and know what the employer really wants.

Security+ is scheduled for Saturday. I don't imagine I'll have any issue with burning through it.

good luck. i just found an A+ prep class that cost 60 USD (book not included). i might do that and attempt to get an apprenticeship at a computer store near by.

Thanks. Cool; yeah, experience is hard to come by. Sometimes, you've just got to get your foot in the door, and it almost doesn't matter which door, heh.

This is why i wear steel toed boots, because doors hurt especially when slammed on ones foot.

Nice, man. What's up next? I'm taking a brief break to take care of a few things, then Server+, followed by Linux+ (I'm wrapping up all the useful COMPTIA stuff, heh).

Most likely 70-291 or 70-270, although I have no desire.
