I think theres over 500 betas been compiled so far, I don't know what the final count will be. It is to be released this saturday via torrent. Pretty big news to me as I'm a big sonic classic fan.

Yeah, it should be relased this saturday at 6. Right now the beta count is at 1,000.

Sega never sues people for distributing its roms so don't worry. They've been exchanging roms openly in all sonic related forums for a long time now. I guess they don't care cause they are certainly aware of it by now.

If sega went after somebody it would be sonicretro forums, they are actually the main forums behind it. I'll probably pm you, and include a link to the forum that has the link for the bittorent. Not a direct link to the torrent itself.

Interesting. I wonder where they all came from. I mean, there's nowhere near that many games known to even have had beta versions around in the first place. After all, the normal procedure is to reuse the programmable cartridge after they've finished development on one game.

This is where you get the bittorent, it sounds interesting. They say there is sonic and tails 1-ups in Knuckles Chaotix, who of course never appear in the final game.

nice!Im downloading these roms as I type,maybe I should upload em on the newsgroups for better distribution and faster downloads.Oh and all these games are from various sega systems and a few from Game Cube and they will release some sega cd and saturn and dreamcast iso's in the fututre its a good thing i have all these systems modded too.
